So straightaway I played a '95
(Greatest Hits Of) and straight after moved on
To 'Best of '99'... It's nice to dive
Into the past like that, but never live
There full-time; come up for breath and drift with
The current tide. Watch X-Factor, and then
Back to a golden age that's still alive
In my head or on rotating plastic -
Tunes make more sense to me than anyone
