Financially mismanaged from the start
By Factory and New Order, their receipts
From record sales kept it open, the heart
Of indie cool, trendies in overcoats
Trendies but not spendies, so it was rare
The huge place was full in my day, but what
A difference later with top DJs! Beats
And ecstasy brought in far more punters
Gangs and guns, becoming too hot a spot
