Two hours' sleep last night after poetry
And chat at the Sandbar in Manchester
My sofa was slept on by Tommy G
I drove there and back, being no drinker
Saw John Hall, Dermot, Steve, Zack and Anna
Tom G was playing my guitar real late
Worried about the noise at that late hour
I let him show me stuff and demonstrate
His techniques playing Jimi, which was great
Today worked my full hours, surprisingly
Tomorrow however I'll rise extra
Early and walk to the station to meet
John Hill on the train from Piccadilly
To Newcastle, and I'll see Ian there
