1692 - Fresher Cheshire

It's great sometimes to drive to who knows where
Destination unknown, all left to fate
Only that way can we best discover
Secret places that turn out to be great
Cheshire has its share of these, and of late
I've found a few. First stop today, Marton
Ice cream, the old church, how to celebrate
A sunny spring day? Drive to Congleton
Passing Gawsworth and Capesthorne Halls and then
To Little Moreton Hall, striking Tudor
House set in lovely green pastures. Hey, wait
She said. See that castle? It's a ruin
We drove there, like driving up a steep stair
It's called Mow Cop. It's view I can't relate
