Poor Nigel Clough, I feel your pain, oh yeah
Despite that, Sunday went OK, and there
Was a funny end, at King Gong, Justin
Moorhouse, a well-known comedy compere
Poor Nigel lasted forty seconds in
The white heat of the harsh competition
And blamed us or anyone for his doom
I understand his pain, it's hard to bear
But he has to improve if he's to win
It's a harsh world, the world of jokes and fun
It's enough to bring on a little tear
