A busy day, woke early, read my mail
Watched the morning news, while grabbing breakfast
Lots to do in the office as usual
Two decaffs and several teas, day went fast
I explained to a visitor our tasks

Walked along the riverside till we'd passed

On Asgard Drive, to my flat. Got a call
From Alan, whose car was parked by the flats
Then Jeff arrived, and so time to begin
