It's been an interesting day, work and play
At work I drafted a long response to
The things said by my manager, Friday
It may cause trouble, but what do you do
When they pick faults for no reason with you
I'm no longer prepared to support them
If they won't support me, that is my view
After drafting this, I popped home and then
Out again to the Ritz, my old student
Haunt, looking quite similar to the old days
How many dances and gigs this venue
Has hosted! Sparks were playing live, two men
(Brothers), pop stars from my junior school days
Looking and sounding just like they used to
