We lost at home, one-nil, not surprising
Even though it was at mythic Wembley
Wembley, maybe, but it's a new building
Hodgson, our manager, he's resembling
McCartney, but that's not enough to win
Mertesacker headed it in, winning
The game for the Germans, and it went in
A draw would have been fair, but it's not been
A good few days for England, first Chile
Now Germany, our default is losing
Meanwhile, there's my harmonica training
Played it along to Yes, and that's tricky
Don't claim to be good, keep on practising
