Autumn's definitely here and the rain's back
Just like the springtime, all so cold and wet
I've even put a jumper on my back
To keep myself warm here in this old flat

Back to last night's comedy - pleased I went

It turned out more fun than if I had spent

We stayed in the pub til midnight, so went
Home later than I thought, and we knocked back
