2487 - Rainy old town

Thank God I took today off - a lie-in
Will be welcome, today meaning Friday
But on the agenda is I'm searching
For a walking stick, and I have to say
An electronic cigarette, for they
Are comedy props I need to acquire
In the meantime, straight after work today
(Thursday), met Nancy by the funeral pyre
Of the old BBC, though I was tired
Of standing in that old phone booth sheltering
From the drizzle. To the Lass o'Gowrie
For a talk organised by Liz, inspired
By music and the mind. Then, one last drink
At our table in the Castle. Hug. Bye!
