The sunshine didn't continue today
But I was at home, it didn't matter
Watched 'A Midsummer Night's Sex Comedy'
Then two live football games, Tottenham Hotspur
Against Everton, then Queen's Park Rangers
Against Wigan. After that, I went out
To the Comedy Store in Manchester
To watch 'King Gong' amateurs with Dermot
And had a good laugh when they were real shit
A few pints of Guinness downed on the way
And a good time had by all, a natter
There's more comedy to come, Tuesday night
But tomorrow night, I'll probably just stay
In for the Manchester clubs' encounter
