Had a haircut today, it's really short
I hope the weather warms up, or my head
Could get frostbite. And in that head I thought
It's nice walking through sunny streets instead
Of rainy ones. Coldest March recorded
Since '62, they say. Sunny or not
It's been a freezing early spring, snow fed
The ground like manna. So, will it be hot
This summer? Global warming's what we've got
Or does that make it cooler by some sort
Of strange counter-intuitive method?
The farmers are all struggling, not been taught
How to cope with this fast-changing climate
Or was it a freak year we all just had?
