It's late, I've been out, into Manchester
TV21 bar, for a quiz night
The first one I've done in ages, I swear
And though we didn't get the answers right
And only came fourth, nonetheless I quite
Enjoyed it, cos my team won the last time
And I got some free drinks, several free pints
By cashing in their voucher, making mine
A free pint and a half of Carlsberg, fine
Danish lager it is, too. Yes, lager
Is okay sometimes. I got through alright
Without buying smokes, and writing this rhyme
Almost done, looking forward to supper
Which could be fish or eggs or toast. Good night!
