The rain's falling now, just got home in time
Out all day in a thin t-shirt and shorts
White pumps, an outfit not designed for rain
The weathermen forecast later downpours
But then the threat seemed to recede. It was
A day spent in most exciting Urmston
Walked a long way, some dodgy directions
Led us the wrong way perhaps to Flixton
Perhaps not, who can say? Always go wrong
And get disorientated, all the same
Houses, streets, no way to tell whereabouts
But we found three parks, Chassen Road, Golden
Hill, and Davyhulme Park, that's in Urmston
Not Davyhulme, it seems. That area's nuts
