Yesterday,
got great news from my girlfriend
That makes up for these regular grey skies
She handed in her notice, gave advice
To her horrid boss that she's leaving
town
Soon she'll be gone for good, and she won't miss
Her home town or her
job that brought her down
She's got a lot to give, but why a frown
When
Manchester and me can help unwind
Years of tension caused by the enemies
Of
decency. They won't have her around
Much longer - her heart is already sent
My way, and she'll forever be Tony's!
