So there it was - an hour-long show last night
At the King's Arms theatre from 7.30
Performance was good though attendance slight
Not as bad as some acts though - nobody
Turned up for some of them, and the
Act before us was a no-show himself!
It's proved a lesson in publicity
It's not enough to hand out flyers, shell
Out for posters or post on Facebook. Bell-
Ends say they'll come, or might come, but their bite
Is worse than their bark. Barking mad to be
Us onstage, but madder to miss the thrill
Of our first-ever proper show. The night
Went on with Sian, Mel, Salma, Derm and me...
