2453 - What the book is going on?

I've rarely read a book where so little
Seems to happen in so many pages
As 'Tom Jones' by Henry Fielding. A full
450 pages in, as
I write, and although it's still quite a buzz
(Therefore, well-written, as you'd expect from
A classic), it's not near as risque as
I'd expected. Must make clear, it's not Tom
Jones the Welsh singer. It's the time of Sam
Johnson it's set in, Jacobite rebels
Even, yes it's the 1740s
I've read 'Fanny Hill' and it doesn't come
Close to that for rudeness, no Sade-esque thrill
But I like these old classic novels best
