This is a day late, I was out last night
And went in a taxi to Didsbury
At the end of the evening - wasn't quite
With it by this stage - didn't need to be
Going there - could've walked home easily
Nevertheless I hung out with Tony
Before that, had a good flattened rump steak
With fantastic flavour, spicy chilli
And of course lots of lager down my neck
Unfortunately though I lost my bag
Most likely in Mulligan's, which is shite
Cos my diary was in it - my diary
With phone numbers, financial stuff - oh fuck
Popped into Tesco's with Tony real late
Chatted for a while with wine - then, sleepy....
