It's hot and these hot days should continue

What a scorcher! just like in yesteryear
Woke up early, worked nine and a half hours
Not gonna do much tonight, might load my
New Samsung phone with friends' names and numbers
Not expecting the time to quickly fly
A night in's good, though, cos tomorrow I
Am out again with the pub touring crew

Meeting at the Midland Hotel just by
The Town Hall, guided walk, a pint or two
Meanwhile here I am, getting sweatier
