Last night's comedy was a little sparse
Not many turned up, but still a good laugh
It's good to get more chance to talk to those
Stalwarts of the scene, don't do it enough
Normally, my networking goes and gets stuffed
But chatted to a few guys, short but good
Set - feel I'm really starting to improve
And feel natural now, hit the right mood
That suits my personality and would
Make me laugh if I heard it from others
Got home quite early, decided to have
More to drink, and so drinking more I did
So much so I woke late and rubbed my eyes
Was it really almost ten? Must be off....
