It's been a good Sunday, read more Wild Swans
Did ironing, watched TV, did some shopping
A long guitar practice, played forty songs
Or thereabouts, then a bit of phoning
To see how Josie was, she'd been feeling
Faint last night when I left her, but she's fine
Then rang Janet, to check we're still going
Out to comedy, also Caroline
Was there. A takeaway ordered, and mine
Was vindaloo. Saw some cats there, but none
Pooed while we ate, thank God. Not long waiting
For the tram, luckily, as the wind whined
Comedy Store's new jokes night was full on
The last guy was a dwarf - had me laughing
