And I’d say Clegg was the winner again
Stood in the middle this time; punched his weight
Despite those now higher expectations
No doubt the pundits and spin docs as one
Are now poring over it, commenting

Again seemed unimpressive though his thing
This time was be tougher, notwithstanding
Polite privileged background. Heavyweight
Gordon Brown of clunking fist fame began
With ‘You may not like me, but…’ Truth-telling
Can occasionally happen - how great!
