It's been a fun night out in Manchester
With Pearl, we went to Matt and Phred's jazz club
For the jazz jam, inevitably the
Standard was really high, quite a hubbub
For a Monday night. There was a whole tub
Of jazz, a good sax player and many
Pianists, who are they all, they're from up
Here in the north, I assume, they could be
However from down south, or Italy
Quite a few tourists in the place for sure
Good chat with Pearl, met Richard C, a pub
Quiz with him tomorrow, Alexia she
Should be there too, will be good to see her
And hopefully resume winning the cup!
