2186 - Space racing

The universe is almost infinite
It can't be truly infinite because
There may be other universes that
Could be infinite too, both in numbers
And size, and meanwhile the planets and stars
In our insignificant galaxy
Rush apart as we go through the light years
Thanks to that mysterious dark energy
That though invisible, beats gravity
And stretches space past the outer limits
Faster than light, if we can see far as
Thanks to Hubble we seem able to see
Though we feel separate, we're all part of it
All subject to the same natural laws
