1767 - Brain death and Bolton

Woke up at eight and did some ironing
Then went to work - a long and tiring day
Principally because of a long meeting
In which I had to concentrate and say
Pertinent comments - couldn't drift away
My brain was hurting... Then I walked on home
Had a snack, then caught the train Bolton way
Where I watched some acts and read a poem
It was quite long, some concentrations roamed
I was a little drunk maybe, reading
In truth I was a touch too tired to play
A song... Then caught the train back from Bolton
Now here I am, desperately writing
This sonnet - then bed. Tomorrow's Friday...
